ARGENTINA
Jerónimo Castillo- Argentine Poet/writer. He was born in Lujan de Cuyo (Mendoza) Argentina, on 30 September 1943. He has won first Provincial Departmental Poetry Award 1975 and Guaymallén-Mendoza (Icthios Group); the first “Day of Tradition” Award (poetry, 1976) Intellectuals Circle Women Mendoza and Circle of Poets (Mendoza branch), and the first National Book Award organized by the Directorate for Assistance to the Aged and Disability ( Mendoza, 1993). He has published books of sonnets Gantry (1975) and American Testimony (1989), the Minotaur (1994), Heart of puma (1997), wild Neighbourhood (2001), Horcón poems (2001), Anthology of wine (2004) and Anthology Love (2004).

SNOW
Eternal in
the domains of height,
sometimes
arrive to the plain
melting in
the hollow of my hand
troubles with
your escape my tenderness.
Your presence
tells me that Natura
belies the
beauty of summer,
when he
painted with sovereign dye
sky and brushes
your whiteness.
Those who
yearn for your beneficent sap
you will see
your buds with joy
hoping to
show off with the dawn.
I, I think
sleep inside your lullabies,
I shall dream
about the sound page
although only
vibrate your own murmurs.

LA NIEVE
Eterna en los dominios de
tu altura,
llegas en ocasiones hasta
el llano.
Fundiéndote en el hueco
de mi mano
angustias con tu fuga mi
ternura.
Tu presencia me dice que
Natura
desdice la belleza del
verano,
cuando pinta con tinte
sobrehumano
y pinceles de cielo tu
blancura.
Los que anhelan tu savia
bienhechora
verán con alegría tus
capullos
esperando lucirte con la
aurora.
Yo, que pienso dormirme a
tus arrullos,
soñaré con la página
sonora,
aunque vibren tan sólo tus
murmullos.
